Further Applications
Brommat (Frankreich) Hydroelectric power plant BROMMAT II Service tunnel
Tunnelwalls in Granit and Basalt with slate-clay-layers, with broken, relaxed surfaces. Localy groundwater outlets. The walls be applied with 250m² sprayed-concrete in 10-12cm. Build-in grid-steel-mats in different stregths mounted with anchors if required. Concretequality as DIN 1045, Resistance category B II, Class B35 and B45, Consistency: groundmoist. No accelerators. Binder: Silipon

Since a few years, reconstruction works are under process on middle-aged fortress and on the rampart with wet-mixed-shotcrete-system in thin stream technology. Dependent on the prevalence situation, different technological variants come into operation. By the reinforcement of the rock a combination of rock-anchors, several layers of mats and sprayed-concrete is used. For the purpose of the adaptation to the surrounding nature, the sprayed-concrete are manufactured by grind stones of original rock. By the compacting of the rampart, the protection of monuments had come into consideration, therefor a corresponding collared concrete has sprayed on.

In the knee of the river Donau, north of Budapest, in a particular nice surrounding area, a thermal-bath has been built. During the extension of the thermal-bath, an additional hall, out from a shell-structure and four elements, have been constructed. The shell-elements, from a special aesthetic design, have been manufactured by the wet-mixed-shotcrete-system. The dimensions of the elements are: wind-span 18m, high 8,2m and shell thickness 10cm. During production time collected experience has proved, that the wet-mixed-shotcrete technologies have advantageous by the manufacturing of the shell-structures in different geometry’s, as for example: for silos, hangers, sport-stadiums etc.

In a woodwork factory for the Hungarian Railway a water-reservoir for the fire-protection-system has manufactured by the wet-mixed-shotcrete technology.

By the reconstruction of an eighteen meter high cooling tower in a milk-powder-factory, the inner- and outer surfaces of the tower become a sprayed-concrete layer. This work belongs to the group of shell-construction, because the sprayed layers have a high shell-structure.
Balatonszéplak (Hungarian)
The foundation of the Hotel Interpress on the shore of Lake Balaton, has constructed, so that the geometry of the load carrying wall of the building gets 40 cm concrete pillars a 25cm tick and 80cm high brick-wall. On top of this wall the first floor of the of the Hotel has built. The brick-wall shows sign of weathering and decrepitude with abstraction. The brick-wall has reinforced with steel-mats on both sides and a corresponding concrete layer for strengthening has sprayed on it.
